Slips
Raise
your sails 200 feet from your slip! A short channel brings you from
the marina to the Toms River, where you can start sailing/boating immediately.
The area around Nelson's affords good water depth, excellent sailing, good
swimming and good fishing and crabbing. Nelsons is near the
mouth of the river and is within easy reach of the most popular destinations
in Barnegat Bay: Tices Shoal, Applegate Cove, Silver Bay. Manasquan
Inlet and Barnegat Inlet are both available to you.
Nelson's has new slips, good water depth, protection, and a convenient location just off route 37 and a few miles from the Garden State Parkway. The marina has 100 slips, which can accommodate boats from 23 to 40 feet in length.
The
marina was significantly refurbished in 1998, with all new pilings and
catwalks installed. Water depth ranges up to 6 feet plus at the docks.
Maximum draft for boats is 5 feet. Slips have potable water and 110
volt power.
